Real Madrid want to sign either Kylian Mbappe or Neymar in the summer.
Real Madrid are prioritising a move for Kylian Mbappe or Neymar over a potential bid to sign Paul Pogba in the summer, according to the Daily Mail. Manchester United star Pogba is believed to be desperate to leave Old Trafford during the summer in order to play Champions League football.
Pogba’s dream move to the Bernabeu could be some way away, despite being keen to leave United.
The Frenchman is said to have his heart set on a move away at the end of the season, with Madrid his dream destination.
However, according to a report in the Daily Mail, the Spanish giants are looking to spend big on a new ‘Galactico’ from Paris Saint-Germain.
The report states that Madrid president Fiorentino Perez is dreaming of signing either Neymar or Mbappe during the summer window.
Both men have been linked with a move to the Spanish giants for some time, with reports suggesting that Madrid were close to signing Neymar last summer.
Mbappe is believed to be a personal favourite of Zinedine Zidane, which means he could be the more likely of the two to move to Los Blancos.
And his move to Madrid was backed by club legend Luis Figo, who believes he would be a “great signing” for his former club.
" Mbappe is a young player, one of the best in the world and one of the most expensive," he said on Tuesday.
"He is in a team which has no financial problems, I do not know if it will be possible to sign him."
"But he would be a great signing for Real Madrid."
If they were to move for Mbappe or Neymar, it would surely mean they don’t have the funds to sign Pogba as well - while still abiding by Financial Fair Play rules.
Madrid forked out £275million last summer, and a move for Mbappe or Neymar would cost upwards of £100m, meaning they would likely have to sell some big names.
