Serie A title contenders Inter Milan are reportedly keen on signing Arda Guler and Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Italian outlet Inter Live, Arda Guler and Dani Ceballos are subjects of interest from Inter Milan. The Serie A title contenders are scouring the market for multiple midfielders heading into the summer transfer window and have set their sights on Real Madrid’s backup midfield duo.
Arda Guler has endured a frustrating stint with Real Madrid since arriving from Fenerbahce in July 2023. The Turk snubbed several other European bigwigs to join Los Blancos but has not been a regular for the Spanish club at any stage of his spell at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 20-year-old has not even managed 1,500 minutes of game time across 37 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with four goals and eight assists. On the other hand, Dani Ceballos has been one of the most reliable performers in the middle of the park for Real Madrid since arriving from Real Betis in July 2017.
However, the Spaniard has played second-fiddle to Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde, and Eduardo Camavinga during his spell with Real Madrid. Nevertheless, Ceballos has played his part for Los Blancos, even though he has managed only 1,648 minutes of game time across 35 appearances in all competitions this term.
Arda Guler and Dani Ceballos might depart from the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer transfer window, with the former increasingly frustrated with his situation. The duo has no shortage of suitors pursuing their signature in the summer transfer window, with Inter Milan among the prospective suitors vying for their services.
Inter Milan will look to sign multiple midfielders in the summer transfer window amid Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s advancing age. In addition, Davide Frattesi faces an uncertain future at San Siro. So, several midfielders, including Kobbie Mainoo, have emerged on Inter Milan’s radar.
However, the Real Madrid midfielders are also viable targets for the Nerazzurri, considering their versatility and work rate. So, it will be interesting to see if Guler and Ceballos reunite at Inter Milan in the summer transfer window if they end their spells with Real Madrid to join the Serie A title contenders.
