Real Madrid arrived in Lyon this morning to unusually cold temperatures as the squad prepares to take on Olympique de Lyon in their Champions League fixture tomorrow.
In what has already been a freezing winter across Europe, los Blancos' arrival saw a city blanketed in snow and the temperature dipped to two degrees below zero.
The first to disembark from the team plane was French legend Zindedine Zidane, closely followed by director general Jorge Valdano, also accompanied by Emilio Butragueno and Miguel Pardeza.
Los Blancos then checked into the the Hotel Sofitel, where the squad will rest until 18:00, at which point they will make their way to the Gerland stadium for training. Manuel Pellegrini will also give a customary press conference after training.
Club president Florentino Perez is also set to arrive in Lyon today, hoping to witness his team's successes in the Champions League tomorrow by progressing past the first round of the knockout stage for the first time in six years.
