Real Madrid scratched out an unimpressive 3-1 friendly win at Segunda Liga Cadiz last night.
Ruud van Nistelrooy and Roberto Soldado were among the goal scorers, but the highlight was a clash between Real midfielder Mahamadou Diarra and Cadiz's Alexander Medina late in the game.
Diarra was slammed for his behaviour afterwards by Medina: "What happened was that Diarra wanted to take justice into his own hands. In the first-half he made a couple of bad tackles without apologising and soon he was causing more problems."
"Some think that by wearing the Madrid shirt they're better than everyone else and that is not true. And for that reason the fouls continued. But these are things of football and must remain on the field."
