Bernd Schuster admits losing
David Beckham and
Roberto Carlos over the summer were the most difficult problems he had to overcome this season.
Schuster said: "We are trying to teach the players what it means to play for Real Madrid. In my days as a player the majority here were Spanish. Now many players are foreigners, very qualified players but who do not necessarily know what it means to play for this team. The attitude, desire to win for this shirt..."
