Almeria president Garcia: Real Madrid won't get Negredo

Almeria president Afonso Garcia has dismissed reports that Real Madrid intend to re-sign striker Alvaro Negredo.

Its mooted Real want to buy back Negredo in order to sell him on for a healthy profit, but Garcia says: "The player could be re-signed only to reinforce the first team of Madrid, and not for any other purpose."

"Anything different would be against the word given by their leadership."
