Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder is glad to be rid of his ex-team-mate Robinho and has slammed the Br azilian for the comments he made about "the best club in the worl
".
Robinho went to Man City on the last day of the transfer window, but had tried every trick in the book to try and force Madrid to sell him to Chelsea, even going so far as to call a press conference to tell the world that he wanted to join Scolari in London. Sneijder told reporters: "When a player has decided to leave it's best that he is allowed to leave.
"It's good for the club, for us and for him.
Robinho is a very good player.
"He wanted to go, although in my opinion he should never have talked about Madrid like that.
"I don't like it that he talks about the best club in the world this way."
