Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster could be shown the door in less than seven days.
AS says Schuster will remain in charge for Saturday's game against Recreativo Huelva, but barring a major shift in thinking, it will mark his 'farewell' match.
After defeat last night to Real Valladolid, Real president Ramon Calderon has scheduled a meeting this morning with sports director Pedja Mijatovic to consider replacements.
For now, Schuster will stay due to international week. Calderon doesn't see the point in bringing in a new coach while 15 of his senior players are away on national team duty.
Despite the humiliating defeat to Valladolid, Schuster has given those players without international commitments two days off.
