Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has apologised to coach Jose Mourinho for his shirt stunt on the weekend.
Onda Madrid says Ramos made the gesture at the team's hotel in Amsterdam and did so in front of the entire squad. His decision to wear Mesut Ozil's shirt under his own in the second-half of victory over Deportivo La Coruna was seen as a clear challenge to Mourinho's authority after he had substituted the German.
Ramos' apology was accepted by an appreciative Mourinho, who said in front of the squad and coaching staff that the issue was now closed.
