Real Madrid fullback Coentrao: You can't give Ribery the Ballon d'Or

Real Madrid fullback Fabio Coentrao says Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery doesn't deserve to be considered for the Ballon d'Or.

Coentrao is backing Cristiano Ronaldo for the gong.

"Messi is also an excellent player, but he has been out of action a long time. And you can't give an award like this to Ribéry, who only scored 22 goals. Cristiano Ronaldo has always been at the top of his game and scored twice as many," he said.
