Karim Benzema is set to sign a new contract with Real Madrid.
El Confidencial says Benzema has agreed a new €7 million-a-year deal with Real management.
The agreement runs to 2018 and will see his salary begin at €6.5 million and rise to €7.5 million in the final year.
Real's senior players Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos had urged president Florentino Perez to deal in their younger teammate, as had coach Carlo Ancelotti.
While he has support from teammates and coaching staff, there remains doubts over the Frenchman's quality from inside the boardroom.
