Gareth Bale admits he feels totally settled at Real Madrid.
The former Tottenham winger is entering his second season in Spain and is loving the lifestyle.
"I love the weather — still being in vests and shorts for training instead of tracksuit bottoms and tops is great — and I love the food, especially the Spanish ham. I order plates of the stuff," he told the Daily Mail.
"I feel very happy out here. And I’m enjoying my football, which is the most important thing."
One minor drawback for Bale is Real's eagerness to help him feel at home. He wants to improve his Spanish, but Real's staff are too accommodating "
He explained: "I probably need to try a bit harder "
"But it’s tough because everyone speaks English at the club — the manager, Paul Clement the assistant, the doctors and physios, and a lot of the players, but I am still trying."
