Former Real Madrid skipper Michel has defended his old club after their poor start to the season.
The Olymoiacos coach watched Real's derby defeat to Atletico Madrid.
"I don't think Carlo Ancelotti is being treated fairly. This is a coach who has won the Champions League three times and has taken charge of over a hundred games in the competition. He's worked under a mixed bag of tough bosses like Silvio Berlusconi, Roman Abramovich and Florentino Pérez and keeps winning. All the stars that have played under him only have good things to say," said Michel.
"The Iker Casillas situation hasn't flared up just because of one goal. It's a combination of many things. This is the age-old problem with the Real Madrid fans. People immediately look for scapegoats for a situation that should be given until the end of the season to be sorted out. But obviously when Barça go six points ahead [that ceases to be an option]?."
