Real Madrid managed to overcome stubborn Champions League opponents Ludogorets to win 2-1 last night.
Real avoided the embarrassment of losing to minnows Ludogorets in the Champions League on Wednesday night after they fell a goal behind in Razgrad.
After Marcelinho scored for Ludogorets, Cristiano Ronaldo responded to missing one penalty by scoring another, before Karim Benzema got a second for a 2-1 victory.
Real coach Carlo Ancelotti said: "In general I'm very happy because we deserved to win, since we had a lot of chances to score. It was a good match."
"We had a hard time when we conceded the goal at the start, but we pressed up front, won back a lot of balls with our pressing and had a lot of chances."
