Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos hit the winner for Germany against Spain last night.
Kroos scored the game's lone goal in the 89th minute to cap off a memorable year for the Germans.
Spanish head coach Vicente del Bosque selected a young starting XI that saw Álvaro Morata and start up top at striker while Isco spearheaded the attacking midfield with Nolito on his left and Raúl García on the right.
Kroos' late winner came from a low drive, which beat Espanyol goalkeeper Kiko Casilla, who had come on for Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas around ten minutes earlier.
