Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to bring Pedja Mijatovic back to the club.
With Zinedine Zidane in charge of the Castilla and Fernando Hierro working alongside coach Carlo Ancelotti, Florentino is eager to continue the theme of former players taking major roles at the club.
Mijatovic, who has worked as sports director at Real in the past, is now being considered by Florentino for a return, says El Confidencial.
Ramón Martínez temporarily assumed the duties this season performed by Miguel Pardeza, who left the sports director's post earlier this year.
Despite his connections to Ramon Calderon, Mijatovic has no problems with Florentino and would not object to returning to Real under the current regime.
