Javier Hernandez will not be leaving Real Madrid prematurely according to the players agent.
The Mexico international is on a season-long loan with the Spanish giants from Manchester United but it had been suggested that his time at the Santiago Bernabeu would be cut short this winter due to a lack of opportunities.
However, Chicharito’s representative Eduardo Hernandez insists his client will stay in Madrid and work hard to gain a starting spot in Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
"Sometimes the media speculate too much and assume situations," the agent told AS. "He will not leave the club [in January]."
"He is eager to play more minutes but he knows that hard work will open up more opportunities. He has his future ahead of him."
"Real Madrid are a team full of impressive players and obviously to earn a spot is difficult, but Javier has a great quality in working hard, like he has since the first day, and this is his quality."
26-year old Chicharito has scored four goals in a total of 13 appearances for Los Blancos including just three starts.
