Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says Cristiano Ronaldo will learn from his dismissal.
Ronaldo was sent off during victory over Cordoba.
Ancelotti said: "Getting suspended is never good. He will complete the ban without any problems and use the time to prepare himself for the derby. It’s not about him recovering because he’s not injured; he has no physical problems – not with his knee or anything else."
"Sometimes there’s too much respect for our rivals. The quality players tend to get the larger share of kicks and fouls but that’s normal. He was the first to say sorry for how he reacted. He made a mistake and he knows it; it won’t happen again."
