Real Sociedad boss David Moyes defended his players after their 4-1 thrashing at Real Madrid.
La Real took an early lead but were over-run by the hosts.
"We tried to be brave, pass the ball about, keep it moving… We started the game well but pretty soon it was clear to see the difference between the two teams. We did everything we could. We didn’t defend as well as we are capable of doing. There are some positive things to take from this but some negative ones too."
"We didn’t manage to get into the rhythm of the game at all. We had the chance to build on the opening goal but we couldn’t. Today I’ve watched one of the best teams in the world, there’s no question about that. And the whole Bernabéu experience has been marvellous."
