Man United increase offer for wantaway Real Madrid star.
Manchester United have increased their offer for Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos to £49.6 million in an effort to finally sign him, according to Metro.
The Red Devils are looking to sign up centre back Ramos amid his on-going contract dispute with Los Blancos.
An opening £35 million bid is said to have already been submitted, but a revised offer worth £49.6 million has reportedly been given the go-ahead at United as the club try and get the deal done.
29-year-old Ramos is already believed to have told both Madrid and United he wants to play at Old Trafford next season, but new Real boss Rafael Benitez is desperate to keep hold of him.
