Paris Saint-Germain have denied making an €120 million bid to sign Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
It was reported in the Middle East at the weekend that PSG had made the offer for Ronaldo, who had also been linked with a return to Manchester United in recent days, on July 4.
However, PSG club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi's advisory team told Marca: "It is quite untrue."
The rumours of the bid, which was reported to have been rejected outright, came amid suggestions Ronaldo may be unsettled at the Bernabeu.
New Real coach Rafa Benitez has already played down a training-ground disagreement and he repeated on Sunday that there were no issues with the Portugal international.
"My relationship with him is good," Benitez said. "When someone gets angry during a training session, but then does their job, there's no problem. It's fine."
