De Gea to sign for Real Madrid and leave Manchester United this week?

De Gea is on his way and will become a Real Madrid player this very same week, according to La Razón. Real Madrid would pay around €35 million to sign the goalkeeper and finish the controversy around his departure from Manchester United.

The British club have finally decided to cash in some money that would not be there if De Gea signs as a free agent a year from now. They also wanted to get Sergio Ramos as part of the deal, but the center back is now ready to stay with Real Madrid until 2020, per several reports from Spain.

De Gea will undoubtedly be Real Madrid's number 1 goalkeeper next season, meaning that Keylor Navas will likely be on his way out of the club. The Costa Rican wants to get minutes and he would be a reserve with Real Madrid, and that's precisely why Los Blancos signed Casilla, to be De Gea's reserve.
