Real Madrid overcame Tottenham 2-0 whereas hosts Bayern Munich edged AC Milan 3-0 to seal the tickets for the Audi Cup final at outsold Allianz Arena on Tuesday.
Real Madrid booked their tickets for the final thanks to the goals by James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale.
Both sides started evenly balanced before Real Madrid took the reins to rattle the bar through Jese Rodriguez Ruiz' volley from very close range in the opening period.
The Spaniards pressed Tottenham Hotspur into defence hence Gareth Bale was able to head just wide of the right post from promising position with 30 minutes into the game.
Rafael Benitez men rewarded themselves six minutes later when James Rodriguez headed home Isco's pinpoint cross into the goal area to break the deadlock.
Tottenham were unable to respond meanwhile Real retracted with the lead behind. Nevertheless, the "Merengues" were still able to double the lead when Bale unleashed a long-range effort to make the game safe at the 79th minute.
