Real Madrid Include Navas, Two Teenagers In Champions League Squad

Real Madrid have announced their Champions League squad and have included goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who came close to signing for Manchester United, and teenagers Martin Odegaard and Abner in the squad.

Navas was a part of the deal to bring De Gea to the Santiago Bernabeu that fell through in the last minute due to paper work submission delays. However, the stopper has been included in the squad for the Champions League.

Also included in the squad are youngsters Martin Odegaard and Abner. Odegaard made his Real Madrid debut last season and plays as an attacking midfielder out wide or centrally. Abner on the other hand is a left-back.

Besides the duo, there were no other surprises in the squad. Real Madrid lost to Juventus in the semi-final last season, and manager Rafael Benitez will look to use his European experience to help Real win a record 11th Champions League title.
