James Rodriguez 'fed up' at Real Madrid as he doesn't feel valued by boss Rafa Benitez

Real Madrid's season has been plagued by reports suggesting that the club's new manager Rafa Benitez is enduring a tempestuous relationship with some of his players.

And if Spanish sport daily Marca is to be believed, Colombian forward James Rodriguez is latest player to become disillusioned with the former Liverpool boss.

On Tuesday, the newspaper headlined with with 'Harto', meaning 'Fed Up' in Spanish, referring to the 24-year-old, with the reason given that he does not feel that he has the confidence of the head coach, who does not see him as a starter, with the squad and club considering the No 10 position to be indisputable.

The news of the former Monaco man's discontent would seem to be another backwards step for Benitez, especially considering that Rodriguez is purportedly perturbed by the fact that his manager has not supported him enough when he needed it most, having recently recovered from an injury.

Rodriguez was once again the first to be substituted last Sunday at the Ipurua, as Los Blancos beat Eibar 2-0, thanks to goals from Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, AS leads with the reports that Neymar, Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will share the podium for the Ballon d'Or, as Barcelona and Real take a clean sweep of the year-end awards, with the best player, Messi, the most popular, Ronaldo, the best goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo, the best defender, Sergio Ramos, the best midfielder, Rodriguez and the best forward, also Messi.
