Madrid will let James go if Manchester United, Manchester City or PSG offer €80 million

Real just want to receive what they invested in the Colombian midfielder two summers ago.

Real Madrid will let James Rodríguez leave the club if he convinces the clubs interested in his services of submitting an €80 million offer, according to ABC.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly leading the race for the Colombian playmaker, who had a very bad season with Real Madrid last year after a surprisingly impressive debut campaign in 2014-2015.

Madrid paid €80 million to sign James away from Monaco and they'd like to cash in that same amount of money if he is to leave the club. It makes sense, given that James' importance as a player in the world of football has grown, no matter how bad his last season was. James is clearly a very useful player and arguably an undisputed starter when he's in good form, but will he ever earn Zinedine Zidane's trust in Madrid after what happened last season? It may be wiser for Madrid and James to part ways.
