Lucas Vazquez has taken aim at Real Madrid's superstar forward line - imploring them to help fix the club's defensive woes.
The industrious winger is often kept on the bench behind the 'BBC' of Gareth Bale , Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo , despite impressing last season.
And he has taken the unusual step of suggesting the star trio contribute more to the side defensively as Madrid finally broke their woeful stretch of games without a clean sheet.
"A team is based on everyone working," Vazquez said.
"The BBC and the midfield have to work to help the defence not concede so many goals."
Zinedine Zidane's men went 10 games without being able to keep out opponents, but worryingly that stretch included games against a raft of weak teams including third-tier Cultural Leonesa, La Liga outsiders Eibar and Champions League minnows Legia Warsaw (twice).
They broke it in the win over Leganés but Zidane has come under criticism for not organising his backline and also being reluctant to use in-form forwards Alvaro Morata or Marcos Asensio as relief to underperforming stars - a subject Vazquez also bristled at.
"It makes no difference if we think it's fair or not that the BBC are untouchable," he said.
"The coach is the one who decides and we just have to train."
