Alexander Isak has been withdrawn from all media duties at AIK amid reports he is set to join Real Madrid.
Isak, 17, is expected to pen a five-year contract at Real Madrid this week.
The Swedish striker, dubbed the 'next Zlatan Ibrahimovic', will supposedly cost Real £8.8million.
AIK are believed to be negotiating the finer terms of the deal and have moved to shelter the teenager from the spotlight.
"As we are well aware, over the weekend there has been much speculation about Alexander Isak," AIK told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.
"For your information, we would like to say that he will not participate in today's training.
"During the day he will undergo testing as the rest of the squad did at boot camp last week.
"AIK football has also taken the decision not to have Alexander available to the media in the near future so that he can focus on his training."
Around 90 European clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Juventus and Bayern Munich, are said to have scouted Isak over the past few months.
The 6ft 2in striker only made his professional debut at the start of 2016 and went on to play 23 games for AIK in his first season.
This is the second time in recent years that Real have moved to sign a high-profile Scandinavian talent.
Two years ago they beat the European elite to sign Norway international Martin Odegaard.
The teenager has so far struggled to make the grade at the Bernabeu, however, and recently moved on loan to Dutch side Heerenveen.
