Real Madrid playmaker Isco has reportedly called on the club to abandon a potential big-money summer move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
Real president Florentino Perez is said to be keen on bringing the Belgium attacker to the Bernabeu, but it is rumoured that Zinedine Zidane is not quite as keen.
Isco believes he is a very similar player to the Chelsea ace and is reported to have told Real bosses to give him their complete backing, according to the Daily Star (via Don Balon).
Hazard is currently under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2020 and although Blues chiefs are confident he will stay, rumours persist that Real are preparing a huge offer for a player who has been back to his best this season after a woeful 2015-16 campaign.
As for Isco, the Spain international has been flourishing in Gareth Bale’s absence and has scored 11 goals and provided seven assists as Real look to seal the La Liga title.
The player himself has also been linked with a move away from the Spanish giants, with Tottenham and AC Milan among several clubs chasing his signature.
