That’s according to Spanish football experts Don Balon who reckon the French boss is determined to lure Hazard to the Bernabeu.
The La Liga champions wanted to snap up Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe.
However, securing his signature is proving to be tricky.
Monaco are demanding at least £165m to part with their prized asset.
Don Balon say Zindane is also concerned Mbappe’s expected mega fee could upset the Real dressing room.
With that in mind, he has now prioritised signing Hazard ahead of the teen striker.
Despite speculation surrounding Hazard’s future at Stamford Bridge, Antone Conte has insisted he’s not for sale.
He said: "I don't know anything about this situation."
"In the past I read a lot of stories about [ Hazard going to] Real Madrid and now there is Barcelona."
"This is the transfer market and we must understand this."
"Will Hazard stay with us? Yes. He is very happy to stay with us and to play for Chelsea."
