Neymar has a verbal agreement in place to join Real Madrid once he decides to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
That is according to El Chiringuito journalist Eduardo Inda.
Neymar, 25, shocked the football world when he opted to leave Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in a world-record £200million deal this summer.
The Br azil international left the Nou Camp because he wanted to stop playing in Lionel Messi’s shadow and put himself in greater contention to win the Ballon d’Or.
Neymar’s father played a key part in his decision to join PSG on a five-year deal.
But it appears that during the negotiating process to join the Ligue 1 champions, he has already brokered a plan for him to one day leave the Parc des Princes for Barca’s arch rivals Real Madrid.
"Real Madrid has spoken with the father of Neymar at the time of signing for PSG," Inda said.
"He has a point in his contract that allows him to easily exit the club in the coming years."
He added: "Real Madrid has reached a verbal agreement and a clause has been established in case Madrid are interested, because I do not think he will be in Paris for a long time."
If Neymar was to join Real Madrid, he would follow in the footsteps of Ronaldo and Luis Figo - who both left Barca to join their arch rivals.
