Cristiano Ronaldo knows no limits it seems as he continues to break record after record with the Real Madrid star targeting a sixth Champions League final.
The Portuguese star salvaged an all-important victory over Getafe on Sunday for Zinedene Zidane's side by bagging an 85th minute winner to keep the pressure on rivals Barcelona in La Liga.
The Spanish giants' record goalscorer - 412 goals in 402 games - is confident of reaching his sixth Champions League final ahead of Tottenham's visit to the Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
Ronaldo became only the 20th player to reach more than four European finals when he helped Madrid to their sixth - and second successive - Champions League win by beating Atletico Madrid in Cardiff in May, and continues to desire more.
"I haven't broken so many records by accident," Ronaldo said according to the Sunday Express. 'They are there to be broken, and breaking records motivates me to train and be even better.
"I have the ambition to always improve."
Spurs travel to Spain brimming with confidence after Saturday's victory over Bournemouth as well as having matched Madrid's 100 per cent start to the competition.
Although Mauricio Pochettino's team will travel to the Spanish capital as underdogs, the Premier League outfit have a trump card up their sleeves - Harry Kane.
Kane has been in blistering form for club and country since the beginning of September, scoring 11 goals in 10 games for his boyhood club, five of which coming in the Champions League, putting Spurs level on points with the holders.
But Ronaldo, a six-time Champions League top scorer and four-time European Golden Shoe winner, knows a thing or two about scoring and believes despite their obvious strengths, Spurs have weaknesses. And Madrid can expose those weaknesses.
"Their is always a weak point in every defence," he added. "So we have to figure out what their's is."
