No Bale, no Keylor.
Real Madrid just published their squad list for Saturday’s game against Atletico de Madrid —20:45 CET—.
REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:
Goalkeepers: Casilla and Moha.
Defenders: Sergio Ramos, Nacho, Marcelo, Theo, Varane, Carvajal.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Asensio, Isco and Ceballos.
Attackers: Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Lucas Vázquez and Mayoral.
As confirmed by coach Zinedine Zidane, neither Gareth Bale nor Keylor Navas will be available here. Kiko Casilla will be defending the team’s goal as Madrid are reportedly trying to secure the signing of promising keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga because of the injury concerns surrounding starting goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Other than that, Carvajal will be back with the team after missing the last two months with a pericarditis. The Spanish defender is a crucial part of Madrid’s system and will be starting if Zidane and the player himself feel like he’s ready.
Casemiro, Kroos and Modric should be the ones starting in the midfield with Isco, Ronaldo and Benzema playing upfront.
