Cristiano Ronaldo includes PSG star Marquinhos in three-man Real Madrid wishlist given to chief Florentino Perez

Cristiano Ronaldo has urged Florentino Perez to strengthen the Real Madrid squad with new signings in January — and has even given the club's president his three-man transfer wishlist.

The Bernabeu outfit have endured a miserable start to the La Liga season, trailing leaders Barcelona by eight points while also stuttering in the Champions League.

Ronaldo hasn't enjoyed much personal success this season either, with just two goals in nine league matches.

And the Portuguese superstar wants to see at least three new faces arrive at the club when the window reopens in a bid to save their season.

According to Diario Gol, he wants Portuguese youngster Goncalo Guedes, Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos and Athletic Bilbao's Kepa to join him in Madrid.

Ronaldo was unhappy with the club's decision to allow experienced back-up players Pepe, Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez to depart in the summer.

The former Manchester United star believes his wishlist will strengthen the European champions' squad — and has appealed to Perez to sign them.

However, the players are all unlikely to be available in January, and the club could turn to Chelsea centre back David Luiz

Spanish goalkeeper Kepa is out of contract at Athletic Bilbao at the end of the season and is expected to sign for free in the summer.

Guedes is another player who Real will have to wait to sign, with the young winger currently impressing on loan at Valencia from PSG.

Like Ronaldo, he is a client of super agent Jorge Mendes, which makes a summer transfer likely.

Marquinhos has emerged as one of Europe's best defenders at French giants PSG, but is under contract at the Parc des Princes until 2022.

It is believed it would take a large sum to prise him away from Paris, but Perez is keen to strengthen the club's backline immediately.

Luiz has dropped down the pecking order under Antonio Conte after falling out with the Italian following Chelsea's 3-0 Champions League defeat by Roma in October.

The 30-year-old was subsequently made to train alone and was dropped for the game against Manchester United and left on the bench against West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool.

Luiz has already been ruled out of Chelsea's game with Swansea City on Wednesday, but could make a switch to Spain in the New Year.
