Real Madrid and Neymar are pushing to advance a deal for next summer.
Real Madrid want to land Neymar as their next superstar and believe he can take the mantle from Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the Ballon d’Or for the fifth time last week.
And OK Diario chief Eduardo Inda has claimed both Real Madrid and Neymar are pushing for a deal to happen after Neymar’s first season in Spain.
He also claims there is a deal in place for Real Madrid to snap up Neymar after two seasons in France for the same fee PSG paid to Barcelona: £200m.
But now both Madrid and Neymar want to move quicker and are pushing PSG for an early deal.
Neymar joined PSG in the summer and hit the ground running the pitch but there have already been fallouts with Edinson Cavani and coach Unai Emery.
He has scored nine goals in 12 Ligue 1 games and six in six in the Champions League.
But he has been forced to fend off reports of unhappiness and broke into tears while on international duty and quizzed about the situation.
Real Madrid players, including captain Sergio Ramos, have opened the door to him moving with public endorsements.
