Barcelona star Lionel Messi has reportedly been told that Real Madrid are closing in on the signing of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard at the end of the season.
Hazard’s Chelsea future is uncertain with both Real Madrid and Barcelona being tipped to secure his signature.
The Belgium international is highly-rated by Los Blancos after firing the Blues to the Premier League title last season and under Jose Mourinho in 2015.
However, Barcelona have also emerged as potential suitors with the club still fuelled by the £200million they received from Neymar’s sale to PSG back in August.
Yet Spanish publication Don Balon claim Lionel Messi has received a tip-off that Hazard is likely to join Real instead at the end of the current campaign.
The wing wizard has long been on the radar of Zinedine Zidane over at the Bernabeu.
And, with his current attacking stars misfiring, a sensational transfer could be on the cards.
Cristiano Ronaldo has shown signs of waning this season, Gareth Bale has been plagued by injuries and Karim Benzema is a far cry from the player he used to be.
And all signs point to Hazard moving to the Bernabeu in the summer.
Don Balon say Real president Florentino Perez has caved after months of Zidane relentlessly asking for Hazard’s signing.
And they feel they can get a deal done for a fee of around £90million.
Real could, however, throw Bale in as part of any deal.
Chelsea, along with Manchester United, were sniffing around the Wales international back in the summer.
And with injuries continuing to derail his Spanish adventure, Bale is growing increasingly likely to return to the Premier League.
