Raul de Tomas has confirmed that he will return to Real Madrid as a first-team player after a prolific loan spell with Rayo Vallecano.
De Tomas scored 24 goals for Rayo last season as the Madrid-based side won promotion back to La Liga.
His exploits do not appear to have gone unnoticed the 23-year-old tweeted he had signed a five-year contract with Los Blancos.
"We all have dreams... Mine started when I was eight years old and first joined this club," wrote the forward.
"I knew that every step I’d taken until today would lead me to achieve my dream: to be a Real Madrid player."
"Five more years at the club of my life. Thank you and Hala Madrid."
Like Madrid predecessor Mariano Diaz, De Tomas also has a Dominican mother.
