Kaka believes Neymar should listen to his heart and make his Real Madrid ‘quest’ into a reality.
But the former Br azil international says his compatriot must be prepared for the consequences.
Neymar is currently at the World Cup with the Selecao ahead of their crunch clash with Serbia later today (7pm).
The former Barcelona star netted 28 goals in his first season in Ligue 1 before succumbing to a fractured metatarsal.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Neymar who was rumoured to have been unsettled in Paris.
And Kaka believes the 26-year-old should not worry about quitting PSG and heading for the Spanish capital - if he wants to.
The former Real midfielder says Neymar needs to fight for the move if he wants it to happen.
"It's a personal decision, if he signs for Real now, maybe they'll say he only went to Paris to build a bridge to get to Madrid," Kaka noted to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"But if that's what he wants, he has to do it and be ready to manage the situation."
"There's always a lot of pressure on him. In Br azil it's incredible, they talk about his performances but also his hairstyle and the bags he carries."
"He's a great player, but also a celebrity and it isn't easy to manage all of that."
Br azil sit top of Group E on four points, along with Switzerland, while Serbia are a point adrift.
The match in Moscow's Spartak Stadium is a must-win encounter for the Serbs, who are still smarting from a late 2-1 loss to Switzerland.
