James Rodriguez ‘begs’ Jorge Mendes for a move

It’s been a rough start to the season for Bayern Munich, a particularly torrid start for James Rodriguez.

Are Bayern in danger of not winning the Bundesliga?

Under the management of Nico Kovac, Bayern are third in the German top flight after 10 rounds.

Bayern are four points behind league leaders Borussia Dortmund.

The Bavarians also have a battle on their hands in the Champions League.

Bayern are second in their group, behind Ajax on goal difference.

As for James Rodriguez, he’s struggling to get game time at the Allianz Arena.

The Colombian playmaker is no longer a starter for Bayern.

James Rodriguez is only at Bayern on loan from Real Madrid.

The South American agreed a two-year loan deal to join Bayern back in 2017.

Bayern have an option to buy James at the end of the deal for 64 million euros.

But, according to Spanish paper ABC on Tuesday, James is desperate to leave Bayern to rejoin Real Madrid as soon as possible.

ABC make a series of dramatic statements about James’s current situation in Bavaria.

Reportedly the midfielder is “fed up with Kovac and Bayern”.

James is “begging” Real Madrid to take him back, while James reportedly instructed his agent Jorge Mendes to work on that move four months ago.

James is pressing to return to Madrid this January.
