Manchester United’s summer transfer window was one to forget. Jose Mourinho wasn’t given the players he asked for and that has been evident in the results.
Our last big splurge was a move for Alexis Sanchez, but the man from Chile has massively struggled since moving to Manchester. Now, it looks as though he could well be on his way out after less than a year at Old Trafford.
That’s according to Spanish media outlet, El Chiringuito, translated by talkSPORT. They say that United have offered the ex-Arsenal man to Real Madrid, who are looking to strengthen after losing Cristiano Ronaldo over the summer.
Apparently, Sanchez has become unsettled at United, while also having a strained relationship with manager Mourinho. It seems as though at least one of them has gotta’ go, and it certainly looks as though the manager is going to have the last laugh, and that’s the way it should be.
