Llorente and Kroos are back.
Real Madrid published the squad list for Thursday’s home match against Girona in the Copa del Rey Quarterfinals.
REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Luca and Altube.
Defenders: Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola and Reguilón.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, M. Llorente, Brahim, Isco and Ceballos.
Attackers: Benzema, Lucas Vázquez and Vinicius Jr.
Toni Kroos and Marcos Llorente have recovered from their injuries and will be available, although it’s not clear whether Solari will include them in the starting lineup or not. Marcos Llorente could be given minutes so that Casemiro gets some valuable rest, especially considering how well the Spanish midfielder was performing until he got injured.
Other than that, Solari might not make many rotations for this one. Real Madrid should take this game very seriously as the Copa del Rey could be a realistic target for them now that they’re 10 points behind FC Barcelona in La Liga table.
