Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has agreed to sign Neymar and provide him with a pathway out of Paris only if he satisfies one condition.
Real Sociedad imposed Real Madrid’s eleventh defeat of the La Liga campaign with a 3-1 success at the Anoeta on Sunday evening. Brahim Diaz opened the scoring on the day with a beautiful goal, but Mikel Merino restored parity soon after.Later, Jesus Vallejo handled the ball on the Sociedad goal-line and was sent off, but Willian Jose failed to convert from twelve yards.
Joseba Zaldua and Ander Barrenetxea struck in a space of ten minutes in the second half to put the game beyond the reach of Los Blancos. The result meant that the Whites’ hopes of finishing second ended and they mathematically sealed third place now behind Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, first and second respectively.
Signings are a must if the Whites want to ensure that they win some silverware in the 2019/20 campaign and Zinedine Zidane has indicated that there will be changes. Paris Saint-Germain winger Neymar, whose transfer was earlier vetoed by the coach, is back on the Whites’ radar and Florentino Perez is keen on signing him, according to Diario GOL.
The Spanish giants enjoy a clean and professional relationship with their French counterparts and hence, Florentino Perez will not make a move that would possibly see Neymar forcing for a transfer. Instead, the Madrid president will only sign the Br azil international if he makes his intentions clear to the PSG directors.
Real Madrid will have to pay heavily in order to sign Neymar just two years after he left Barcelona and signed for PSG for 220 million euros- a world record sum till date. That said, his goal scoring prowess and overall gameplay could benefit the Whites a lot, but they should ensure that his off-field antics don’t let him get carried away.
