Theo Hernández seems convinced by the project of Milan, who are set to take him on a permanent basis / loan + obligation.
Milan have so far signed one player – Rade Krunic from Empoli, and the next signing could of Real Madrid’s Theo.
Sky’s Gianluca Di Marzio suggested last night that “fullback Theo Hernández is very close to Milan, who could settle on a permanent transfer or a loan with obligation to buy, not right.” Alfredo Pedullà of Sportitalia added that “there is trust for Hernández” and Milan “are waiting to find the formula that can also satisfy Real.”
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are ready to invest €20 million in the Frenchman, who joined Real Madrid in 2017 for €26m and spent the last season on loan at Real Sociedad. Gazzetta believes the formula would be that of a permanent transfer, without loans.
Alessandra Gozzini of the pink newspaper suggests that the 21-year-old, following his meeting with Paolo Maldini in Ibiza last weekend, is willing to cut his salary by 20 percent. La Gazzetta’s Nicolò Schira reports that Milan are prepared to offer him a five-year deal worth €1.8m per season. Ricardo Rodríguez, makes €2.1m, Diego Laxalt makes €1.7m, while Ivan Strinic makes €2m per season.
Theo, who grew up in Atlético Madrid but never made an appearance for them, played 28 games last season for Sociedad, scoring once and assisting twice. Should he arrive, a left back will leave.
