The midfielder made the trip alongside Florentino Perez.
Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcon has joined the team’s pre-season stage in Montreal after missing the first week, when he just became a father. Isco traveled alongside president Florentino Perez and CEO Jose Angel Sanchez, who will spend the next few weeks with the rest of the team as they also try to finalize some deals.
Isco was expected to leave Real Madrid this summer but Zidane’s return to the team will probably give him the chance to stay and prove his worth once again. The French coach has always liked Isco’s style of play and what he brings to the table, so it would make a lot of sense to keep him even as a weapon off the bench to control the tempo of the game and quite possibly give some rest to midfielders like Kroos or Modric.
Isco’s return means that Casemiro, Militao, Fede Valverde, Dani Ceballos and Jesus Vallejo are the ones who are still away from the team because of the tournaments they played this summer.
