Real Madrid’s motion to replace Gareth Bale has taken a hilt after a primary target rejected moving to Spain’s capital.
Gareth Bale’s future at Real Madrid is under a dark cloud since the last few months and more so since Zinedine Zidane took over as the manager. The Wales international had been benched more often than not by his manager at the end of last season, even in the final league game against Real Betis what may have been his final game should he leave the club.
Florentino Perez wants to sell Gareth Bale and agrees with Zinedine Zidane’s reasoning about the winger not following a respectable code of conduct and being injured for most parts of the campaign. The president will not sell Bale for less than 80 million euros nevertheless, and Bale will not move for a lesser salary- two demands which won’t be fulfilled at the same time.
Los Blancos are currently preparing for their pre-season clashes in Canada and Gareth Bale has been in the middle of things, but with Zinedine Zidane planning for 2019/20 without him, he has already asked for Florentino Perez to look for a replacement. The president on his part wants Vinicius to play on the right flank regularly, but the coach wants a marquee signing.
Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe is the man on Zinedine Zidane as well as Florentino Perez’s watch-lists, but the France international’s transfer is practically an impossible move this summer. Mohamed Salah is the next best alternative, but Diario GOL has claimed that the Egypt international has rejected the Whites already.
The report claims that Zinedine Zidane had personally requested for Mohamed Salah’s signing worth 160 million euros, but the Liverpool forward has flatly rejected the Merengues. Salah is not too upbeat about sharing a dressing room with Sergio Ramos after what had happened in the 2018 UEFA Champions League Final.
