Real Madrid star Eden Hazard scored his first goal for the club since joining from Chelsea in the summer.
Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard has said he will now have the confidence to take more shots on goal after scoring his first for the club against Granada on Saturday.
Real won 4-2 as Hazard’s goals were added to by Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and James Rodriguez.
And Hazard opened his account with a delightful chip in the first half to set Los Blancos on their way.
The Belgian has struggled a little since his £88million move from Chelsea in the summer.
But Hazard is keen to get more goals for Real, who remain top of La Liga by four points.
"I am pleased with the win," Hazard told Real Madrid TV.
"When you play you want to score, but the crucial thing was getting the win".
"We are still top of the league, that was our aim today."
"It's always difficult to get that first goal, but once you get it you have greater confidence to shoot and I hope to score lots of goals for this great club."
"It was important for me to score today."
Granada, who sit second in La Liga, having enjoyed a great start to the 2019/20 campaign, were tough opponents for Real.
But Hazard’s side came through the fire and sit five points ahead of El Clasico rivals Barcelona, who are in fourth position.
"It was a really hard-fought win because Granada played really well," Hazard added.
"They're a strong side and that's why they're second in LaLiga."
"But we gave our all throughout the 90 minutes and won the game."
"There's always room for improvement, but that's three important points."
