Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen has been a target for Real Madrid in the past.
Tottenham should attempt to re-sign Gareth Bale in a swap deal that sees Christian Eriksen head to Real Madrid, claims former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.
New Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has been keen on signing Wales star Bale in the past.
Redknapp, who coached Bale during his time at White Hart Lane, reckons the winger’s return would be a big coup for the north Londoners.
And he says contract rebel Eriksen, who has been linked with Real in the past, should be offered in exchange.
"Oh he’d be an amazing signing, wouldn’t he?" Redknapp said of Bale on The Debate.
"Great signing for them if they can get him back on board. That would be something."
"Swap him for Eriksen. Real Madrid don’t fancy Bale do they, he don’t fancy him. If they fancy Eriksen, let’s have a deal."

Meanwhile, former Real president Ramon Calderon has also backed a Tottenham return for Bale.
"Well it wouldn’t be a bad solution," Calderon told Sky Sports News.
"I know that Jose wanted him. I remember him saying in 2017 that if Bale was in the exit door, he will be waiting for him on the other side."
