According to De Telegraaf, Real Madrid are willing to pay Ajax’s €55 million asking price for Donny van de Beek.
The midfielder was heavily linked with a move to the Spanish giants in the summer but he decided to remain at Ajax for another year.
However, De Telegraaf are reporting that Real Madrid are still fully invested in van de Beek and want to pay the €55 million asking price.
Tottenham Hotspur were also said to be interested in the 22-year-old, but in conversations with the club, Van de Beek has indicated that he prefers Real Madrid.
The Netherlands international has seven goals and six assists in 21 games this season so far.
