Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham are just three of the string of clubs hoping to sign Real Madrid full-back Achraf Hakimi this summer, after his two impressive seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund.
The 21-year-old has been a big hit in Germany, racking up 70 appearances and scoring 12 goals for Dortmund in his two years with the club.
His loan spell comes to an end at the climax of this season and he will return to Real Madrid, but there are numerous suitors for his signature across Europe if he is looking for pastures new.
90min reports that Dortmund are very keen to keep hold of the Morocco international, while Chelsea, Man City and Spurs want to bring him to the Premier League.
Inter Milan, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain all also hold an interest in the versatile full-back, who can play on either flank or further forward on the wing.
However, Real Madrid have Hakimi under contract until 2022 and the player is keen to return to the Spanish capital and continue his progression under Zinedine Zidane.
Hakimi told Telefoot: ‘Real Madrid are the club I call home.
"I’ve really enjoyed my time there [Dortmund] and played lots of games there. If Real Madrid want me to go back, I’ll go back."
"And if not, I will need to write the next chapter at another great club."
His agent also confirmed a return to his parent club, with Alejandro Camano dismissing the possibility of staying in Dortmund: "There is no such offer. We will return to Madrid," he told Mundo Deportivo.
However, Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has not given up hope yet, telling Kicker: "I’m sticking to the facts. Achraf has a contract with Real Madrid."
"But nothing has been decided yet. We can still imagine Hakimi staying at Dortmund."
If Hakimi does indeed return to Madrid he will be competing with Dani Carvajal for a spot in the first team.
