Real Madrid plot re-signing of Milan star they sold for €20m as valuation skyrockets

Real Madrid are monitoring the progress of Theo Hernandez and could launch a move to try and bring him back, a report claims.

The Rossoneri signed the Frenchman from Los Blancos back in the summer of 2019, and Calciomercato.com are among a number of sources who have recently reported that his value since then has gone from the €20m Milan paid to €50m or more, with the 23-year-old establishing himself as one of the best full-backs in the league in that time.

According to DonDiario, Real Madrid in fact do not regret the sale of Theo Hernández, but they are still following his evolution and believe that it is an option for the future to take into account. The intention of the LaLiga giants is to bring Sergio Reguilón back and keep Ferland Mendy, as long as Marcelo leaves.

However, they are aware that Theo’s contract at Milan runs until 2024 and Real Madrid believes that in 2023 he could return if he continues at this level. By then he would be 25 years old, a perfect age to succeed, and the report adds that the player for his part would consider a return.
